Below is a list of known issues ever since the Orange Box Engine update and the EventScripts Update. We will do our best to fix these items as quickly as possible, but please be patient. The EventScripts update was just released, and it will take some time to sort out all of the issues. This list is not all-inclusive, but we will update it as we fix items, or find new items.
In the meantime, be helpful by
REPORTING BUGS to us so that we can fix the problems. Please read all reported bugs before creating a new one. We would prefer that you report the bugs by using the
Google Code Issue Center, but you can also feel free to add them to this post. Using the
Google Code Issue Center allows us to better keep track of issues.
Known Issues:- gg_spawn_protect causes crashes
Temporary solution: disable - gg_turbo causes crashes
Potential solution: Add "eventscripts_deadflag 0" to your autoexec.cfg - Nade kill causes crashes with turbo enabled
Resolved? - gg_dead_strip causes crashes
Temporary solution: disable - A question mark appears <?> at the beginning of hudhints
This does not harm anything, and will eventually be fixed via the EventScripts usermsg library - Linux servers will not load GunGame properly or you receive no weapons
Resolved
Troubleshooting Tips:- Disable every included & custom addon.
- Enable each addon 1 by 1 to see which one causes a crash or issue.
- If you do not get the expected output from the addon, take note of it.
- If something crashes, see if there is a pattern to the crash.
- Please try to be as specific as possible when telling us of your bug. The more specific you are, the faster we can find and correct the issue.

Yeah, it's 3:30am. Warren and I are still trying to troubleshoot, but I am doing what I can to keep our community up-to-date. Believe it or not, we really DO care. This engine update is going to kill me (as far as sleep deprivation is concerned). Monday was up until about 30 minutes ago troubleshooting too. Fun stuff.

My friend, go to bed. At age 45, and after working on PCs for most of my life, I know that when you work with no sleep, this stuff will take twice as long.. Go to be son, we can wait till the am...
Thanks for all your hard work. It is truly appreciated brother. If it means anything, BOOM! will be donating to you to make you feel like your work is meaningful. I can't tell you how many people are watching this, but I'd estimate it's in the 100s if not 1000's! It's a real phenomenon and must make you feel very needed! I'd be stoked.
Sleep well.....Mav

Hello,
There seems be a problem of incompatibility between the GG5 and Metamod Source. When they are everything them 2 loaded, the server crash.
I deactivated GG5, I left activated SPE and Metamod Source, no problem.

It sounds to me that GG5.1 is just crashing for you (as it is for all of us in its current state), and not conflicting with MetaMod: Source.

Ok new update,
We have managed to get a GunGame5.1 server up and running.
ip: 203.98.81.13:27018 | SynexServers.com.au #3 | GunGame5.1 Test Server
I currently have the following mods working;
Server Mods:
Sourcemod 1.3.3
Metamod 1.8.2
Sp_extensions_ep2
Gungame5.1 Mods:
gg_knife_pro.cfg
gg_turbo.cfg
gg_earn_nade.cfg
gg_friendlyfire.cfg
gg_leaderweapon_warning.cfg
gg_map_vote.cfg
gg_nade_bonus.cfg
Server has crashed once this was immediatly after a round win.
Cant seem to find a log file though. Other than that havent had any further issues.
I just noticed these errors as well;
ConVarRef es_corelib_ver doesn't point to an existing ConVar
SetConVar: No such cvar ( es_corelib_ver set to 2.1.0.323), skipping
ConVarRef spe_version_var doesn't point to an existing ConVar
SetConVar: No such cvar ( spe_version_var set to 1.5.0f r75), skipping

thanks to everyone for all the hard work! I know you guys have lives outside of coding for the CS:S community, but great job and fast turnaround! I've currently got GG5.1 running and we're having zero crashes after following the recommendations above(no turbo, deadweaponeremoval/etc.). I'm at work right now but will start troubleshooting when I get home this evening. Thanks again guys!
you can check out our main server @ ismokepot.net:27016 which resolves to 96.236.129.53:27016

Read the installation wiki page:
http://wiki.gungame5.com/pages/InstallationBasically, you need to es_load GG5.1 once to create all of the cfg files. Then, go through and edit them to your liking.

Hey guys,
I'm running a Windows 2008 Dedicated Datacenter Box. I have a installed the latest release of Eventscripts (version 2.1.0.323) and the latest version of Gungame (5.1.453). They server runs, but if I add Sourcemod to the mix, the server will not start if I put es_load gungame51 in the Autoexec.cfg file. If I remove es_load gungame51 from autoexec.cfg. the server will start with SourceMod loaded. It will also allow me to load Gungame via command line or HLSW but the server will crash on map change when autoexec tries to reload it. If I leave SM off, the server's fine.
Here's the console error that halts the server from loading:
"The procedure entry point GetCVarIF could not be located in the dynamic link library vstdlib.dll."
I'm using Metamod Source Version 1.82 and I've tried Sourcemod versions 1.33 and 1.4 Dev. The same results are the same with both versions of Sourcemod.
I'm using no SM plugins during the tests so it's not an addon SM plugin that's causing the conflict. Any ideas on what the issue is between Sourcemod and ES/GG? ES works with SourceMod by itself, its only when I add Gungame to the mix that it starts to crash. upon es_load from Autoexec.cfg and map changes with es_load in the Autoexec.cfg.
Thanks in Advance for your thoughts.

The cvars for Reverse should be in your ..cfg/gg_en_config.cfg.
