Amount of kills, level error

Postby kowal2008 » Sun Apr 03, 2011 1:48 pm

I have problem with amount off kills. I can't change more than 1 kill per level. I tried change multikill override but is still the same. I edited my custom _weapon_order and default_weapon_order and nothing happened. I loaded sm_extension, gg_fix, my autoexec is ok. Im stuck! Could someone help me? Please :)

Using gg_multikill_override should work, so not sure why it won't for you. Also, one thing I notice is that you posted your default_weapon_order , but it says in the cfg file you are using custom_weapon_order1 .

What version of GG5.1 are you using, and do you have any errors? Also, don't use gg_fix to fix the issues caused by the Feb. 22nd CS:S update. Instead, load this script:
http://forums.eventscripts.com/viewtopi ... 27&t=42620

This might sound like a silly question, but I have to ask to make sure. Are you certain that when you editted the weapon_order files, that you uploaded them properly to your server? Actually, I should also ask, what type of server is this? Listen or Dedicated? If dedicated, is it a rented or on your computer? If on your computer, is it using HLDSUpdateTool or Steam=>Tools? What Operating System is the server being ran on? Please post any errors that are logged in your ../cfg/gungame51/logs/ folder.

Ok, it seems that gg_multikill_override works perfectly fine for me on a listen server, but setting values in the actual weapon_order files does nothing. I'll look into that issue and see if I can find/fix the problem.

I'm not really sure why gg_multikill_override won't work for you. Try setting it while in-game. Open the client console and type gg_multikill_override 2 and it should restart the game and print out the new weapon order (with all guns having a multikill value of 2). It worked for me doing it that way 'and' setting it in the gg_en_config.cfg file.
