So what's the problem, since there is non official fix for es ob in giving us working gungame? Or just say where it has to be changed, I'm pretty sure I can do it alone ;P

I can get eventscripts to work fine, however i just get the spe_C error, so need to wait for both updates to come out...

spe will be updated
Eventscripts will be updated
GG5.1 will be updated...

That is all ;)

In the mean time run bloody SM GunGame... or dont run anything at all like im doing and wait till its done :)

Download the newest Ep2 version of SPE. Make sure to upload all files in the correct directories.

Well, there were a couple of issues that were fixed in the newest version which was uploaded earlier today. If you haven't already, please download that newest version and install it. One of the two fixes was for respawning. Since the old package had cstrike.ini (with old signature values) and cstrike_beta.ini (with new signature values), the wrong ini was getting loaded. This was what was causing the respawn issue (spawning with 0 health and being a ghost). The other was a correction in the path given in the .vdf file, which was causing loading issues.

i have installed the ES beta with spe2 and GG51 and when I type in console es_load gungame51 I get
Can't load addon (gungame51): No module named spe_C

have tried to follow the instructions to the letter but I am still not able to load the addon

Running a linux based server.

ES works I just think I have something in the wrong place.


Please help.

figured it out now just have to get it to work as in loading weapons and not just having knife.

When i install gungame 5.1 it wont load on my server heres whats installed on my server.

Mani Admin Plugin CSS OB 1.2V

Tickrate_Enabler
EventScripts CSS OB 2.1.1.388 (Public Beta)
- Syphon MOD
- Download Manager MOD
- Vampire Nades MOD
- GunGame 5.1.466 MOD
Source Python Extensions 1.5.0f r78

everything else works fine just not gungame so i was told i needed to install SPE when i did then the server dont load at all.

my autoexec.cfg
sv_allow_wait_command 1 // Required for EventScripts for the time being
stuffcmds // This is the line that fixes the IP issue & other strange issues
es_load gungame51
es_load syphon
es_load download_manager
es_load vampiregrenades

any ideas on what i need to change to SPE to work right?

Try this, ksV1P3R. Remove everything from your autoexec.cfg except sv_allow_wait_command and stuffcmds. Also, make sure there are no es_load lines in your server.cfg either. Basically, try starting your server with just the plugins loaded and no scripts. Actually, just to make sure, remove that Tickrate_Enabler as well, just for the time being.

If it starts fine like that, then re-enable the Tickrate_Enabler. If that starts, then using es_load gungame51 in the server's console (or rcon es_load gungame51 in your client console). Also, you should be using the newest GunGame 5.1, which is version 477 not 466, so please use the newest instead.

Well, GunGame has been updated to 5.1.477 (http://addons.eventscripts.com/addons/view/gungame51)...that might help slightly. As far as SPE - do you have any loading errors? Does it show up via plugin_print?
