gg_respawn_cmd 5.1?

Has this cvar been removed from gg 5.1? I cannot seem to find it, I am aware that 5.1 uses spe to respawn as well.
The problem I am having is that randomly some people wont respawn when they are supposed to with elimination. Then after a while re spawning stops working totally and will not respawn anyone.
Any ideas or help is appreciated thanks.

Yes it has been removed since gg51 forces you to use spe, i believe

is there anyway i can mod this to use sm respawn because spe doesnt seem to be working as well for me?

Could you provide more information on how SPE doesn't seem to work?

i dont know exactly what is causing it, but i know that sometimes people do not get spawned, then after a few hours that the server has been populated it stops respawning people all together, then once the map changes it starts working again.

I'd grab the latest SPE just in case. I did fix a few issues recently with windows and linux. However, I'm not sure if SPE is the cause of your problem. I don't do anything on map change. It's puzzling that the respawning slows to a full stop.

yes I have got the lastest version of spe and gg5.1 will let you know if it keeps up, I have a lot of mods so its always hard to tell what causes my problems.

I am still having the same problem,
now that I have looked into it a bit more I have found that it is gg_elimination that is the problem, for some reason it is disabling itself, and then I get no respawning and no gg elimination announcements. If I enable elim by putting gg_elimination 1 in console it starts working.
Has anyone seen this problem before?

I haven't seen this first hand, but my clan members have described the same problem on our server.
BTW, we are running deathmatch and not elimination.
Also, I'd like to add that sparks continue to be emitted from a multi-leveler until the end of the round/map. Is this something I should make a new topic for?

This is fixed in
r411.
Also in
r411, an issue when changing levels during warmup where you would get stuck in warmup round was resolved.

When elimination or deathmatch get unloaded, is everything else normal?
Do the players have their normal weapons and they are able to level up? Do the players seem to be stuck in warmup, with only warmup weapons?

Thanks Warren. I'm gonna play some today and try to pin down the respawn issue. I only heard about it once from a clan member yesterday evening, so I don't have any valuable info for you. I'll let you know if/when I see it.

Ok this is what happened, I used sourcemod admin to change the map, then we got stuck in warmup round. So i changed the map again, this time everything was working fine other than elimination, players were leveling like usual.

Alright. Well your getting stuck on warmup issue caused it to mix up what it was meant to load when the next warmup ended. This is now fixed in
r411. Let me know how it goes.
