Error: Could not open addon: gungame51

Postby empmdk » Mon Oct 18, 2010 5:32 pm

We are running this on a Linux CentOS 64-bit server
Using the latest eventscripts v2.1.1.338, python and latest Gungame releases. I get there following error when trying to load gungame:

Error: Could not open addon: gungame51

Is there any way to fix this? I have searched and found others having the same problem and haven't found my answer there.

There should be more to the error than that. Can you please post the entire thing for us?

That is all HLSW is showing, I can't go into the game atm because I'm at work on my netbook. But, if I remember correctly I tried it last night in-game and it gave the same error, no other information.
I can have a someone test it for me in 2-3 hours to see if it shows more.

Ok we are also getting this:
[EventScripts] Initial loading of Mattie's EventScripts plugin...
'import site' failed; use -v for traceback
Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to [:]
Could not find platform dependent libraries
Could not find platform independent libraries

We set the directory of Python to "/usr/lib64/python2.4" but its not making any difference. We don't know what " : " is...

Try installing ExceptHook, which will catch the full error and let us know what it says.
