cfg/gungame51 attached.

Any ideas? I don't hear ANY gungame related sounds at all, but every other feature works flawlessly.

Since you seemed to have them set as their defaults, I have to ask if your client downloaded the sounds when you first connected to your server? What setting do you have your clients cl_downloadfilter set to?

I'm pretty sure I already have the files, my friend who also went on the server could not hear them as well. Is there any other folder I could provide to solve the problem? Or do you think its client sided?

What is your server's IP, so that I can get on and check myself?

Ok, try something for me. Disable Mani, and see if anything changes.

This may sound stupid, but how would I do that?

One way would be to move the Mani .vdf file out of the addons/ folder. I typically just make a new folder inside the addons/ folder, and place files there when I want to disable a plugin.

*Edit: make sure your server is shutdown when doing this.

Hmmm, that is really strange. I'll have to think about this for a bit. I'll get back with you tomorrow night after work.

If anyone else has any insight prior to that, please feel free to help out.

Thanks a lot for the help still, and good night.

Once I get the sound working I can start adding other stuff to my server.

No, sorry. I also don't have time to work on this tonight. I 'will' work on this, when I get the chance, and hopefully get it figured out.

Do you see errors in your client console such as "unable to play sound: name here sound missing from disk/repository"? Make sure your client's cl_downloadfilter is set to "all" at least temporarily.
