I open Counter-Strike, type "es_load gungame 51" and get this error:
Can't load addon (gungame51): No module named spe
I have installed the latest EventScripts 200beta2_250i and Gungame 5.1.394..

Notice in the Prerequisites, GunGame 5.1 requires Source Python Extensions:
http://wiki.gungame5.com/pages/Installa ... requisitesClick on the SPE link on that wiki page and download the current SPE (sp_extensions_ep1.zip) at the bottom of the first post.

Hi, I got the same error, and downloaded the newest SPE from the forum, but as noobish as this may be, I am not sure where to put the file. I tried putting it in .../cstrike/addons as well as just cstrike.
Thanks in advance~

Yes, just extract the entire contents of the zip to that directory. Though, now you should be using the Ep2 version, which is currently the only version available on the ES forum. Make sure you extract the entire contents and overwrite all files.

Which one exactly? Just cstrike? or the addons folder within cstrike? And I tried both, but same error popped up both times. I just want to mess around with bots on gungame and feel pro cause I'd actually win HAHA =P
Also, just to clarify, the contents of the zip file is just a .dll right ?
Thanks

No. There are multiple files inside the zip file (had you looked inside it).
You need to
OPEN the zip file,
SELECT the
ONLY folder inside it (entitled
addons),
DRAG the folder into the
srcds/cstrike folder.
You're done after that. It's that simple.
And yes, replace all files it asks to replace.

Also, make sure to STOP your server before uploading these files.

Yes, should've mentioned that myself. The server locks files that are loaded into memory.

Oh I don't know what happened the first time then, but I re-downloaded it and it had everything, so it's all good now. Thanks all!
