Game Wining Music

Postby closetodeath » Thu Nov 26, 2009 6:56 am

Ok I have a GG server that is running Gun Game 5. its hosted by counter-strike.com. The other two owners and I have been trying for days to put in the music for the game. We have got to Welcome Msg song in and it works fine, but as for the other songs they download but they don't play. They are in an mp3 format. Tell me what i am doing wrong i have the in the sound folder, and everything but it still doesn't play.

I get this error in console it tries to play it but
Failed to load sound "gungame\zero\@random", file probably missing from disk/repository

Try exteding the length of the name of the song, try around 5-6 charecters.

Your also missing a " in the downloads.txt file

"gg_sound_winer "gungame/ID.mp3"

Should read

"gg_sound_winer" "gungame/ID.mp3"

GunGame5 adds all winner sounds to the list of required downloads, and you shouldn't be adding them to a download list for an admin plugin.

I think your issue is clearly visible by looking at the error you are receiving:
Failed to load sound "gungame\zero\@random", file probably missing from disk/repository

@random doesn't look like the name of a sound file to me.

I noticed that you posted a random_winner_sounds(2).txt meaning you have an original copy somewhere. Make sure there aren't two copies on your server, and make sure that the copy on your server is identical to the one you posted.

Make sure that the sound file is on the server as well.
