Hey guys,

I'm running a Windows 2008 Dedicated Datacenter Box. I have a installed the latest release of Eventscripts (version 2.1.0.323) and the latest version of Gungame (5.1.453). They server runs, but if I add Sourcemod to the mix, the server will not start if I put es_load gungame51 in the Autoexec.cfg file. If I remove es_load gungame51 from autoexec.cfg. the server will start with SourceMod loaded. It will also allow me to load Gungame via command line or HLSW but the server will crash on map change when autoexec tries to reload it. If I leave SM off, the server's fine.

I'm using Metamod Source Version 1.82 and I've tried Sourcemod versions 1.33 and 1.4 Dev. The same results are the same with both versions of Sourcemod.

I'm using no SM plugins during the tests so it's not an addon SM plugin that's causing the conflict. Any ideas on what the issue is between Sourcemod and ES/GG. ES works with SourceMod by itself, its only when I add Gungame to the mix that it starts to crash. upon es_load from Autoexec.cfg and map changes with es_load in the Autoexec.cfg.

I would just like to confirm that, I was too tired and slow last night to figure it out, but that's what I have going on, and without SourceMod and GG5.1 my server wouldn't be half so cool. Though I am running on linux.

Doesn't really look like an error. Seems to be a log that SourceMod creates on your server. There is probably a way to turn that off, but I don't run SourceMod, so I wouldn't know.

where could i check for gungame errors that maybe wont allow the server to start.

One of the issues ive found is the server wont start when you have and autoexec.cfg

Usually your suppose to have
es_load gungame51
in your autoexec.cfg

When i take it out and use rcon to load gungame in-game it works fine.

Hey Guys Thanks For All The Hard Work Guys! Just Wanted You To Know That With Reaching Nade Level On GG5.1 It Crashes! Ummm I Only Have Mani And GG5.1 Running! Only On Nade Level When Someone Reaches Knife! Uhhhh I Have Tried Reinstalling Fresh And Nothing Seems To Help So I Was Wondering Why This Would Be. Thanks For Your Time.

My Eventscripts will not even work. Both ES and SPE will not load, and I have done everything the same way as I have been told to do so.

I run a linux based server. I have installed the appropriate versions of SPE and ES. But neither of them will load at all. What am I doing wrong? Is anyone else on a linux server having these problems or is it just me?

yea worked there any way to not do this and stick to autoexec.cfg

also here can i edit the amount of kills you need to level up.

Try adding a delay to your autoexec:
es_delayed 2 es_load gungame51
If that doesn't work, make the delay longer. Let us know if it works.

As for the amount of kills, you can use gg_multikill_override in your gg_en_config to set all level ups to need the same amount of kills. Or, to have different amounts per weapon, in whichever weapon_order file you are using, use the following format when adding weapons:
default_weapon_order.txt wrote:// Format: <weapon name> <multikill>
where <multikill> is the number of kills required for that weapon.

I've attempted to the es_delay for 5, 10 and 20 seconds to no avail. The server still won't start when Sourcemod, and SPE both loaded and GG in autoexec.cfg. Pull either SPE, SM or ES and the server will start as long as GG doesn't try to load.

Executing es_load gungame51 from a command line does work but it's not a viable long-term option for the obvious reason that it's a pain and will have to be executed each time the server crashes or is restarted. Something is obviously broken and still needs to be fixed. I'm using a freshly downloaded vanilla CSS server, fresh copy of ES version 2.1.0.323, which now apparently includes SPE 1.5.0f r75 (aka: EP2), a fresh copy of Sourcemod (tried 1.32, 1.34 and 1.40 Dev) and a fresh copy of Gungame 5.1.453.

I can tell you the error I get on my console when the server halts and won't start is as follows:

"The procedure entry point GetCVarIF could not be located in the dynamic link library vstdlib.dll."

Until this is resolved, I'll just have to leave SourceMod turned off and run without cheat protection, or Admin control.

You are using the correct versions of both SourceMod and SPE, correct? Not sure about SourceMod, but for SPE, you must use the Episode2 version found here.

The delay was more for people that were able to use rcon es_load gungame51 but not just have es_load gungame51 in their autoexec. Meaning, they can run GunGame just fine, but when they load it when the server is starting up, it will crash their server.

Thanks, yes, I'm running all the latest versions of everything and the problem still exists. For now I have no choice. I want a working GG server again so I'm forced to leave Sourcemod disabled. I've also pulled Source Metamod. Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon. We're very close.

Hey guys I am having a problim where it gives no weapons.
If I use the give command I am able to level up but on level
it wont give the next weapon.

I can get all the way to nade using the give command, so leveling funtion and every thing works. it looks like there is a problim in the code that actualy gives the player the gun.

I am useing
GG5.1.453
Mani 1.2U smm orange
metamod 1.8.2

Sorry there was no error log

edit, sorry forgot the sp_extensions_ep2

Edit 2, Looked around a bit and found I needed to downloaded sp_2 again, they updated it today I think. So if any one else is having the ssame trouble you might want to download it.

Well, just a follow up. My server crashes every other map. The only thing I have loaded are ES and GG5. I give up for now and will leave it off until there's a fix. Thanks for all the hard work guys...

Yeah I am havingsame problim now, the server crashed the first time I launched it, then it loaded, and on new map load it crashes and auto restarts.

A FULL packages stable working GunGame 5 it has everything you need in it for your server to work

I can say its stable as i have not seem one crash over 12 hours now, and is working with the latest
mani admin
