I tried over and over again the last days. Now the server starts (with some errors, but works) but as in the old 453 version in 454 its still the same problem with the weaponorder file. I always get the usp as CT or the glock as T no matter what config I load. With glock beeing the first weapon in the orderlist and restarting the server I can make one level as T. But in the second round I still get only a knife. Just like in 453. Server log says:

wie hast du das gungame 5.1 454 überhaupt zum laufen gebracht also bei uns bricht der server immer ab sobald ich das gungame lade obwohl alle addon perfekt laufen nur das gungame macht faxen es läuft einfach nicht

Ich hab gestern Abend CSS komplett neu installiert. (Den kompletten Ordner gelöscht und per steamtool den Server neu geladen).
Dann hab ich mir Eventscript geladen:

danach hab ich die Phyton Extension installiert:

(inzwischen muss man die vdf nicht mehr bearbeiten, war gestern aber noch so)
danach gungame drüber. gestern noch die 453.

autoexce.cfg:
mattie_eventscripts 1
eventscripts_subdirectory events
eventscripts_deadflag 0
es_load gungame51


Ich hab alle configs gelassen wie sie waren, dann läd gungame.
Kumpel von mir hat gestern Nacht noch die neuste Version von eventscript drüber installiert.

Hier gibts die Versionen meist bevor sie ins Forum kommen.
Dann hab ich vorhin einfach alle gungame configs gelöscht und die 454 drübergezogen.
Jetzt läufts, aber leider mit dem absolut unspielbaren knife-bug :(

Können sie mir bitte sagen welche version sie von eventscript genommen haben also wir haben einen linux root

also ich habe schon versionen versucht wie:

es2-ob-linux_bld2.tgz
es2-ob-linux_bld13.tgz



also auf den anderen server von uns läuft das eventscript: es2-ob-linux_bld2.tgz <------
ohne probleme

mit den neusten event: es2-ob-linux_bld13.tgz Läuft gungame auch nicht. er started und geht sofort wieder offline mit folgenden fehlern:

habe ihre version auch grad getested also die geht genauso wenig bei uns also ich hab kein plan woran es liegt denke mal an gg5.1.454 und eventscript keinplan aber solangsam mach des kein spaß mehr wir haben hier soviele server und nur die hälfte geht. und des alles nur wegen der beta wo eh fast keinen gefällt ohmann :O)

I know this isn't the most productive way to post error logs but I'm at work and figured this was better than nothing. Our server is used 24/7 and usually has over 20 players. Here's what we've gotten recently.

I am running a GG DM server here now, but when a player wins the map, the server locks down and freeze crash. Anyone here have any idea on how i can fix that crashing bug i have here?

It is happening every time a player wins, and instantly the server locks.


And there are no error logs comming up.

This problem seems to be very common on POSIX servers.... Unfortunately we may need help from someone having this issue, because none of the developers have a POSIX environment to test in.

If you just take contact with me on a PM, i can help out with with the enviorment for this.


That is if the crashing on the game in the end of the round when someone wins are the issue you needed the enviorment for.

kone, eventually we hope so. I have personally been working in every moment of my spare time around the clock to do so. Unfortunately, these things aren't simply as easy as "wishing" it would work. It takes a lot of time and research to find bugs and fix them properly.

That being said, asking for a stable version is like asking a mechanic what is wrong with your car and saying that it makes a weird noise. The mechanic would have to look at it first - which is what we are doing. As we find problems, and as more are reported, we fix them. Therefore, to ask for a stable version is like asking a mechanic how long it will take to fix your care before he/she has had a chance to look at it. ;)

Long story short: no time frame.

Version Notes:
./_libs/python/cfglib.py:
  • Reverted to the cfglib that is shipped with EventScripts due to backwards-compatibility reasons.

./core/events/__init__.py:
  • Fixed a bug for the "leaders" and "old_leaders" event values to using the "setint" method instead of "setstring" method.
  • Fixed a bug to where EventScripts would error "No valid command situation for es_event!, #, ..." due to the event values for "leaders" and "old_leaders" being set to a blank string ("").

./cstrike/GunGame 5.1 License.txt:
  • Moved to "../addons/eventscripts/gungame51/GunGame 5.1 License.txt" for es_install compatibility.

gungame51.py:
  • Added a temporary crash fix by removing the notify flag from the cvar "nextlevel", which would crash the server when we fired game_end when a player wins. This would trigger server_cvar, causing a crash.


Basically, this update "should" fix the end of round winning crash, and possibly what has been reported as the map change crash.

the other issue ive seen is that when you level for the next gun it comes up knife and you cant do anything about it.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

My server keep crashing after i did update to the last version here.

But now i do have a error log, that I did not get when it crashed before i updated.
