Crashes at Map Change

Postby Drakk » Sat Jul 03, 2010 11:55 pm

I just applied the newest updates via the post about it. And that fixed it! That got the gg working...Except now when it goes to auto map change, the server crashes and restarts. Back at the same map as before. Anything I can do to fix this? Please, my server has been down since the CSS update.

Hi Drakk, they are working on this now, i beleive it has to do with Eventscripts and not GunGame5.1

But saying that i could be wrong, with some of the trouble shooting ive been doing with the dev team thats what it looks like.

Some custom maps are crashing with 5.1 now. It is due to game_player_equip being modified so that the player only receives a knife on spawn, but we don't know why it is occurring on some maps and not all.

Ok im running GunGame5_1_457

Server crashes midway between changing maps. Spoke to XE_ManUp and asked me to put in the below code into server.cfg
es_flags remove notify mp_friendlyfire

I am running gg_friendlyfire 2.

And bingo map now changed with no problems :)

Gg_warmup_round may cause a crash based on the server_cvar issue as well. We will have to figure that out.
