GunGame51 Leveling issues with CS:S

Hi I am having troubles with a Gungame server that I am trying to setup. It runs just fine and will accept human players and bots, however when playing with human players when someone makes a kill everyone levels. When I have just bots and myself in the match i level normally when i make a kill and they do not level at the same time. I do not have any of the handicap configurations enabled and i have tried just about everything. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Ok, I have seen this many times. I have only been able to replicate it once, but Valve fixed the issue that caused me to end up replicating it.

Are you using the Steam Tools dedicated server or the HLDSUpdateTool server? If you are using the Steam Tools, I would highly advise you to change over to using the HLDSUpdateTool instead. Some people that have reported this issue in the past have stated that just this change fixed this issue for them.

Let us know and we'll go from there.

Hi satoon, thanks for the quick response! I was running it on the steam tools server but I just got done installing and testing gungame51 on the HLDSUpdateTool server and it works great! no more leveling issues! Thank you so much for your help!

Cool, no problem. Glad to hear it worked again. I'm still meaning to figure out the Steam Tools issue sometime, but I cannot seem to replicate it that way, myself.
