Nice offer Defcon, but the fact is, if your site ever messes up or you get behind on payments, this whole community is down. Also, your a bit late

From previous chats with Don about the server/domain side of things, this whole show is quite expensive. I agree that a flow of people coming into http://www.GunGame5.com upon the release will help out with some google ads +clicks and also that paypal donate button.

. I think it is just to show counter-strike.com what it will look like to have their ad there and tell them we will keep it there for $$.

I havent ever owned a server from counterstrike.com, and I knew they had the preinstall of gungame back when 4 was released...THe public already knowns this, as info popped up about it back then. I have a friend at stanford University(a profressor) who runs a hosting servive through thes chool....clanwebpro....great deals....root access.....I would foot the bill for this community...or as I have many servers I rent, I have soooo much extra storage...and I only use my clanwebpro server for stats parsing....plus I donated

a lil to start maybe more in the future....I was also thinking about getting a gungame sponsorship to have our community ad placed on this site...much to disucss with my community....as always...you guys doan excellent job

What is the actual situation. The start of this thread refers to when to release Gun Game 5, but has turned into hosting discussion, possible money issues, sponsorship.

If its a question of file hosting for the release, just say the word and I can upload it to my hosting account.
If its a website and forum hosting issue, i'd be glad to host you guys at no cost.

As far as a official release night, I say do it newer years eve. Make an event out of it, Ring in the New Year with Gun Game 5. Contact some leagues and start the first official GG5 tournament. Talk with some of your favorite or preferred server hosts and see if they will put together some kind of event special pricing were anybody who purchases a CSS Server running GG5 from them during the GG5 newer years event gets a discount on there service and have GG5 get a kick back for the referral or something. For a server host to be able to say they can sell a ready to roll GG5 server will only help bring them more customers.

At any rate thats my 2 cents
